Founders Podcast Best way to reschedule recording

Running a podcast isn’t just about sitting in front of a microphone and hitting “record.” Each episode takes a serious investment — financially, mentally, and logistically. Between coordinating guests, scheduling and rescheduling, editing, producing short clips for social media, and managing communications, every episode costs real time and real money.

That’s why I’ve had to set a simple but essential rule for myself: I respond to no more than ten queries per day. It’s not that I don’t want to help everyone — I truly value every conversation — but I also have to protect my time so I can keep creating the best possible content.

Over time, I’ve realised that endless back-and-forth emails, LinkedIn messages, and WhatsApp texts aren’t just inefficient — they make it harder for me to stay organised and focused. So here’s how I now manage all my scheduling and rescheduling requests: book a call directly on my calendar.

When we’re on the call, we’ll go over everything together and confirm the recording right there. It’s fast, efficient, and ensures that nothing slips through the cracks.

I want to stress that I only open my calendar during live conversations with real people — not in response to messages or DMs. It’s how I stay productive and fair to everyone I work with.

And just to clarify, I don’t charge anyone for these sessions. I do this out of passion and commitment. But because it costs me both time and money to keep things running, I ask for a bit of respect for that process.

If you need to book or reschedule, my availability is between 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. BST for introductory calls.

You can easily schedule your slot here:

Thank you for understanding. Respecting time — both yours and mine — is what keeps this whole thing working.
